DIFFERING OPINIONS ON MATTERS BROUGHT BEFORE THE COMMISSION

Decision-making requires a knowledge of various viewpoints.

<< General Policy >>

Where there exists a significant difference of opinion within or outside the Department, these differing opinions shall be made known to the Natural Resources Commission before the matter is presented to them for decision. The Department will present such differences of opinion as represented by the party advocating the opinion. The Department shall also present pertinent facts and explanation that is judged helpful to understanding the matter.
